CONAN to Launch “Cone Zone” Mobile Experience During Week of Shows in Dallas

When TBS’s CONAN descends upon Dallas for a week of shows in the host city of this year’s NCAA Men’s Final Four®, the show will bring with it a spectacular mobile experience for fans. Making multiple stops at Dallas events during the week of March 31 – April 6, the “Cone Zone” will be a CONAN-style Airstream trailer packed with things to see and do. Fans will have the opportunity to ride a mechanical bull, peruse a gallery of Texas-themed fan art, or even sit on the CONAN set via a green-screen photo opportunity. The “Cone Zone” experience will also include a lounge area with AT&T charging stations, Coke Zero™ sampling, music from The Latin House Krew, “Clueless Gamer” video-game kiosks and more. In addition, the man himself – Conan O’Brien – may pop up at the “Cone Zone” at various times during the week.

TBS renews original sitcom “Ground Floor” for second season

TBS has renewed its new sitcom hit GROUND FLOOR for a second season. Created by Emmy® nominees Bill Lawrence and Greg Malins, the series stars Skylar Astin, Briga Heelan and John C. McGinley. Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Jeff Astrof serve as executive producers on GROUND FLOOR, which is being produced for TBS by Lawrence’s Doozer, in association with Warner Horizon Television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to begin in late 2014.

TBS and TBS Bringing “Falling Skies,” “Legends,” “The Last Ship” and “The Pete Holmes Show” to SXSW

TNT and TBS are heading to SXSW, and they’re bringing with them stars and producers of such series as TNT’s FALLING SKIES and new dramas THE LAST SHIP and LEGENDS, as well as TBS’s late-night series THE PETE HOLMES SHOW. On Monday, March 10, the networks will stage two panels during the annual music, film and interactive conference and festival held in Austin, Texas. That night, TNT will hold a special First Look Watch Party for THE LAST SHIP, giving SXSW attendees the opportunity to catch the entire first episode of the action-packed series from executive producer Michael Bay. Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra and Adam Baldwin are scheduled to appear at the Watch Party.
